Aaron Lee, OD
Dr. Lee is a native of Houston. He received a bachelors of science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Houston Baptist University where he served as president of the student government. His professional training was obtained at the University of Houston where he received a Doctor of Optometry degree (OD). His externship training included the Bridgebuilders Clinic of Dallas (which specializes in serving the indigent population of Dallas) and the Plano Eye Associates West. During his training, Dr. Lee had extensive exposure to diagnosing and treating eye diseases including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, acute bacterial infections, and co-managing cataract and LASIK surgeries.
Dr. Lee’s professional interests include primary care optometry, contact lens fittings, and pediatric eyecare. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, and the Tarrant County Optometric Association. During his time at the University of Houston, he was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa optometric honors society. Dr. Lee also received the Essilor Digital Pupilometer award for excellence in optical dispensary.
His hobbies and interests include working out, reading, and spending time with his sons Evan and Callam.
Dr. Pierce was born in Dallas and went to high school in Allen, TX. For his undergraduate studies, he went to Abilene Christian University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with his Bachelors degree in Biochemistry. He then finished his Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree graduating Summa Cum Laude at the University Of Houston College Of Optometry. Dr. Pierce completed his first internship at Infinity Laser Vision, where he conducted the pre and post-operative examinations on patients who received LASIK. His second internship was at BridgebuildersEye Clinic in downtown Dallas. This clinic was designed to serve the indigent population with free eye health exams and glasses. At this site, Dr. Pierce spent his time diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, macular degeneration, ocular infections and ocular injuries.
Professionally, Dr. Pierce is a Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. He is interested in providing primary eye-care including contact lenses with an emphasis on ocular disease. While in school, he received a clinical letter of excellence for Cornea/Contact Lens services and the Bausch and Lomb Contact Lens Clinical Excellence award. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, and Beta Sigma Kappa the optometric honor society. The first Tuesday of every month Dr. Pierce volunteers at Christ’s Family Clinic providing free eye exams to low income patients.
Outside of clinic, Dr. Pierce enjoys camping, watching movies, and spending time with his wife. He also loves to play sports; especially soccer, baseball, and football.
